    Well done :)

Great composition and perspective and the lighting is gorgeous. Really nicely done.

    Open Shade Portrait

I've read about the technique, it's been done a thousand times before, but here's my attempt at shooting outdoors with a CTO gel and the camera's white balance set to Tungsten:

Details: 580EX II with Full CTO through a 43" umbrella about 5' from subject, wirelessly controlled via 7D. Taken back in April so I don't recall if the flash was set to 1/4 or 1/2 power.
    Exposure: 1/250 (max sync speed) @ f/7.1, 100 ISO

    C&C welcomed,

Thanks, Morgana. I can see myself using the technique in future projects... hopefully with a more attractive model than myself.
